Gracious Youth is a 501(c)(3) registered organization with the purpose of teaching Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) to middle and high school youth in the Volusia county area, primarily through the participation in the FIRST Robotics Competitions. Gracious Youth has supported First Lego League teams for 4 years and First Technology Challenge teams for 3 years.
The name “Gracious Youth” came out of the origins of the teams, where we met at Grace Episcopal Church in Port Orange, FL, and we strive to ensure the youth are truly gracious to all they meet. Thanks to Grace church, we had a place for the team to meet, plan and practice.
