About Gracious Youth

Opportunity, Built Hands-On

A Volusia County nonprofit helping young people grow through robotics, mentorship, and community service.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Gracious Youth exists to give local students real, hands-on experience in engineering and technology. Through FIRST Tech Challenge, young people design, build, program, and compete with robots while developing teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and gracious professionalism.

Our Story

What began as a small group of curious students has grown, season after season, into an accomplished competitive team with a growing community presence. Each robot—from Arthur D2 to Mantis—represents students learning, iterating, and reaching further, culminating in a 2025 appearance at the FIRST World Championship in Houston.
